Doctors and nursing staff are amazing and keep you informed every step of the way. It was comforting to be checked on regularly, not just with observations of vital signs etc. but also checking how I was feeling, if there was anything they could do for me. I cannot recommend highly enough. Dr DJ and Sylvia were particularly outstanding in their care provision.

Our whole family would like to say a huge thank you to every member of staff who looked after her. From the doctors and nurses to the housekeeping and catering teams, everyone was so kind, caring, attentive and understanding. Mum has spoken very warmly about the compassion she was shown throughout her stay. She was very poorly and very frightened when she was admitted, but the staff made her feel safe, reassured and encouraged every single day.

A very special mention has to go to Ella from the housekeeping and meals team. Mum absolutely adored her. Ella was always so patient, cheerful and thoughtful and nothing was ever too much trouble. She made sure Mum was comfortable and whenever we visited she was always offering us tea or coffee and checking that everyone was looked after. She is a wonderful member of staff and a real credit to Parkside, as are all of the kitchen and catering team.

One of the most touching moments came on Mum's birthday. The staff came into her room to sing Happy Birthday, and the chef made her a beautiful birthday cake. It was such a thoughtful and personal gesture that meant the world to her and to all of us.

Hospital stays are never easy, but the care, kindness and encouragement shown by everyone at Parkside made an incredibly difficult time so much easier. Thank you to every single member of the team for looking after my mum so wonderfully. We will never forget your kindness!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was so lucky to end up in Parkside Suite after 3 weeks of visiting A&E regularly and being discharged as they couldn't diagnose my problem.  I was very ill.
Within 48hrs of arriving in Parkside I had been diagnosed and given the correct treatment.  A special thank you must go to Dr Chauhan and Dr DJ.  The rest of the nursing staff were superb too.  They were professional but caring and always cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble.
My room was very comfortable and spotless.  The food was excellent.
I am well on the road to recovery now and I cannot thank you enough.

The nurses go above and beyond for you and tend to your every need without more than a few minutes wait.
The food was the best food I’ve ever had whilst being admitted.
The cleanliness and facilities in your room is great.
Thank you to the team at Parkside for looking after me when I was at my most vulnerable - you’re all fantastic.

Would you like the privacy of a single room whilst receiving NHS Treatment?

Wexham Park Hospital has two maternity amenity rooms. These are located on the main Maternity Ward. NHS patients who wish to have extra privacy after the birth of their baby at Wexham Park Hospital.

What are the visiting times?

Visits can be between the hours of 9am and 9pm. For further guidance please speak to the ‘Nurse in Charge’.

Do I have to pay for parking?

Parking is complimentary for private patients and their visitors. Tickets can be validated at the Reception or the Nurses’ Station on the ward.

Can I bring flowers in for a patient?

We do allow flowers in the rooms – please ask a member of staff for a vase.

Is there wifi?

Free wifi access is available 24 hours a day.

When are the fire alarms tested?

Our fire alarms are tested every Thursday morning.

Can I use my mobile phone?

The use of mobile phones is allowed on the unit.

Is there anywhere for me to smoke or vape?

Smoking or vaping is not permitted on the Parkside premises or anywhere within the grounds of the Trust.

What is the food like?

We have an extensive à la carte menu. Patients and their guests have access to complimentary drinks throughout the day. The Parkside Suite and Outpatients Department also benefits from tea and coffee machines that are accessible to both patients and their visitors. We can accommodate special dietary requirements including halal and vegetarians, these are available on request.

7.30am: Breakfast
10am: Morning drinks
12.30pm: Lunch
3.00pm: Afternoon drinks
6.00pm: Dinner
9pm: Evening drinks

Please note: catering is only provided for the patient.
